Expected cost is wagering × house edge: the long-run average, not a prediction of your session. Level-up bonus figures are player-reported and indicative; Stake does not publish them. Weekly and monthly bonuses are not included because their formula is not public.
It subtracts your lifetime wagering from the target level's threshold, divides by three for sportsbook turnover, then computes bets (remaining ÷ average bet), hours (bets ÷ bets per hour), expected cost (remaining × house edge) and rakeback (remaining × house edge × 3.5%).
Stake counts every dollar wagered equally toward VIP progress regardless of game, while the house edge decides how much of that wagering you expect to lose.
